Kingbooks is an independent business software reseller and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program Member. Kingbooks provides Independent QuickBooks Consulting Services.
Kingbooks is independent of Intuit Inc. This website is not operated by Intuit Inc. Kingbooks and its personnel are not employees, agents, or representatives of Intuit Inc., and Kingbooks does not operate an official Intuit or QuickBooks support department.
Website Use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the Website Fraudulently or Unlawfully
  • Submit False Contact, Business, Payment, or Licensing Information
  • Attempt to Gain Unauthorized Access to the Website, Servers, Accounts, or Systems

  • The exact products, services, scope of work, price, delivery method, timeline, customer responsibilities, recurring charges, and limitations will be disclosed in the applicable quotation, invoice, order confirmation, or written service agreement.
    Independent Relationship With Intuit
    QuickBooks products, subscriptions, payroll services, payment services, hosting services, and connected services may be provided, licensed, processed, or controlled by Intuit Inc. or another third-party provider. Kingbooks does not control:

  • Intuit's Product Availability
  • Intuit's Subscription or Renewal Prices
  • Product Features or System Requirements
  • Software Updates or Product Discontinuation
  • Payroll Service Eligibility
  • Payment Service Approval
  • Intuit Account Access or Restrictions
  • Third-Party Service Interruptions
  • Refund Decisions Made by Intuit or Another Provider
  • Hosting Provider Performance or Availability

  • The use of any Intuit or third-party product is also governed by that provider’s license agreement, privacy policy, subscription terms, cancellation policy, refund policy, and other applicable terms.
    Product Information
    Kingbooks makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product and service information.
    Product features, user limits, system requirements, availability, pricing, promotions, subscription terms, payroll charges, employee charges, hosting charges, and connected services may change.
    Before completing a purchase, customers should review and approve:

  • The Selected Product and Subscription Plan
  • The Number of Licensed Users
  • The Billing Frequency
  • The Subscription and Renewal Terms
  • Included Products and Services
  • Payroll and Employee Charges
  • Hosting or Connected Service Charges
  • Kingbooks Service Charges
  • Other Applicable Costs

  • Information displayed on the website does not guarantee that a particular product, promotion, feature, or price will remain available.
    Quotations and Orders
    A quotation is valid only for the period stated in the quotation.
    An order is accepted only after Kingbooks confirms the order or begins providing the agreed product or service after receiving the required payment.
    Kingbooks may decline or cancel an order when:

  • A Product Is Unavailable
  • Pricing or Product Information Contains an Error
  • Required Customer Information Is Incomplete
  • Payment Cannot Be Verified
  • Fraud or Unauthorized Activity Is Suspected
  • The Requested Transaction Cannot Be Completed Lawfully
  • A Software Provider Cannot Process or Fulfill the Transaction

  • If Kingbooks cancels an order before providing any product or service, amounts paid directly to Kingbooks for the cancelled item will be returned, subject to payment-processing and third-party restrictions.
    Pricing and Payment
    All applicable charges will be disclosed before the customer completes a purchase.
    The customer is responsible for reviewing:

  • Product Price
  • Number of Licensed Users
  • Subscription Term
  • Billing Frequency
  • Renewal Conditions
  • Payroll and Employee Charges
  • Hosting Charges
  • Setup, Installation, Migration, Training, or Consulting Charges
  • Applicable Taxes
  • Third-Party Charges
  • Other Disclosed Costs

  • Kingbooks may require full or partial payment before ordering a product or beginning a service. The customer confirms that they are authorized to use the selected payment method and that the payment and billing information provided is accurate.
    Recurring Charges and Renewals
    Kingbooks does not enrol customers in recurring charges for its own consulting, installation, setup, migration, or training services unless the customer separately requests and agrees to a recurring service in writing.
    Software subscriptions and services provided by Intuit or another third party may renew automatically and may involve recurring charges under the applicable provider’s terms.
    Customers are responsible for reviewing and managing third-party subscription renewals, cancellation deadlines, billing information, and account settings.
    Cancellations and Refunds
    Cancellation and refund requests are governed by:

  • The Refund Policy Published on This Website
  • The Applicable Quotation, Invoice, or Order Confirmation
  • The Stage of Work Already Completed
  • Nonrecoverable Expenses Already Incurred
  • The Software Provider's Applicable Terms
  • Payment Processor Requirements

  • Refund eligibility for QuickBooks or other third-party products may depend on the product, subscription plan, billing frequency, purchase source, renewal status, and applicable provider terms.
    Kingbooks cannot guarantee that Intuit or another third-party provider will approve a cancellation or refund.
    Services already completed and third-party costs already incurred may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.
    Software Licenses
    Software is licensed and not sold outright unless the applicable provider’s terms expressly state otherwise.
    Customers must comply with:

  • User License Limits
  • Subscription Requirements
  • Activation Requirements
  • Authorized Use Restrictions
  • Product License Agreements
  • Account Security Requirements
  • Applicable Provider Terms

  • Each person requiring access may need a separate user license. Kingbooks is not responsible for account restrictions, product deactivation, loss of access, or additional charges caused by a customer’s violation of software-license or subscription terms.
    Customer Responsibilities
    The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing Complete and Accurate Information
  • Selecting the Appropriate Product, Plan, and Number of Users
  • Confirming Computer, Server, Network, and Software Compatibility
  • Maintaining Valid Software Licenses
  • Protecting Account Credentials
  • Providing Timely Access and Instructions
  • Maintaining Reliable Equipment and Internet Access
  • Reviewing Completed Work
  • Testing Software Configurations and Migrated Data
  • Maintaining Current Backups
  • Complying with Applicable Laws and Provider Terms

  • The customer must promptly notify Kingbooks of errors, unauthorized access, suspected fraud, or problems affecting the agreed service.
    Installation and System Compatibility
    Customers must confirm that their computers, servers, networks, operating systems, storage, internet connections, and connected applications satisfy the applicable product requirements.
    Kingbooks is not responsible for problems caused by:

  • Unsupported Operating Systems
  • Outdated or Inadequate Equipment
  • Insufficient Server Resources
  • Network or Internet Failures
  • Malware or Security Incidents
  • Existing Software or Data Corruption
  • Conflicting Applications
  • Unauthorized Software
  • Third-Party Integrations
  • Changes Made by the Customer or Another Service Provider

  • Additional hardware, software, licenses, network configuration, or technical services may be required and may involve additional charges.
    Data Migration
    Data migration depends on the source product, product version, file size, file condition, data structure, integrations, and information available.
    Not every record, field, attachment, template, report, transaction, setting, or historical item can be transferred from every product.
    Before migration, the customer is responsible for:

  • Maintaining a Complete Backup
  • Confirming Authority to Provide the Data
  • Protecting Passwords and Sensitive Information
  • Reviewing the Proposed Migration Scope
  • Testing and Approving Migrated Information

  • The customer must review migrated data before relying on it for accounting, payroll, tax, inventory, financial, or business decisions.
    Kingbooks does not guarantee that every item will transfer exactly or that damaged, incomplete, or incompatible data can be recovered.
    Remote Access
    When remote access is required, the customer authorizes Kingbooks to access only the systems and information reasonably necessary to provide the agreed service. Customers should:

  • Close Unrelated Confidential Information
  • Maintain Current Backups
  • Provide Temporary Access Where Possible
  • Monitor Remote Access When Appropriate
  • Remove or Change Temporary Credentials After the Service Is Completed

  • Kingbooks will not request banking passwords, complete payment-card numbers, or unrelated confidential credentials through a public website form.
    Confidentiality and Privacy
    Kingbooks will use reasonable measures to protect confidential customer information received while providing an agreed service.
    Confidentiality obligations do not apply to information that:

  • Information That Is Publicly Available
  • Information That Was Already Lawfully Known
  • Information That Is Independently Developed
  • Information Lawfully Received from Another Source
  • Information That Must Be Disclosed Under a Valid Legal Requirement
  • Information Disclosed with the Customer's Authorization

  • Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Policy published on this website.
    Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Financial Matters
    Unless expressly included in a written agreement and provided by an appropriately qualified professional, Kingbooks services do not constitute:

  • Attestation Services
  • A Guarantee of Accounting, Payroll, Tax, or Regulatory Compliance

  • Customers remain responsible for reviewing their records and consulting an appropriately qualified accounting, tax, legal, payroll, or financial professional when necessary.
    Third-Party Services
    The website may contain references or links to software providers, hosting providers, payment processors, or other third-party services. Kingbooks is not responsible for a third party’s:

  • Website Content
  • Privacy or Security Practices
  • Pricing
  • Availability
  • Performance
  • Service Interruptions

  • Data Handling Practices

  • The use of third-party services is subject to the provider’s applicable terms.
    Service Results and Warranties
    Kingbooks will use reasonable care when providing agreed services. However, Kingbooks does not guarantee:

  • A specific financial or business result
  • Increased revenue or profit
  • Error-free software
  • Uninterrupted product or account access
  • Recovery of damaged or missing data
  • Approval by Intuit or another provider
  • Continued availability of a third-party product
  • Compatibility with every computer, application, or integration

  • Customers remain responsible for reviewing and approving software configurations, reports, calculations, migrated information, payroll information, and business records.
    Limitation of Liability
    To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kingbooks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data, or use.
    To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kingbooks’ total liability relating to a particular paid service will not exceed the amount paid directly to Kingbooks for that specific service.
    Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
    Events Outside Reasonable Control
    Kingbooks is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including:

  • Internet or telecommunications failures
  • Power outages
  • Cyberattacks
  • Natural disasters
  • Government actions
  • Labour disruptions
  • Provider outages
  • Software-provider changes
  • Product discontinuation
  • Shipping delays
  • Payment-processor failures
  • Other events beyond reasonable control
  • Suspension or Termination
    Kingbooks may suspend or terminate a service when:

  • Payment remains unpaid
  • Fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected
  • The customer violates these Terms
  • Continued service may create a legal or security risk
  • Required information or cooperation is not provided
  • A third-party provider suspends the relevant product or account

  • Termination does not remove payment obligations for products delivered, services completed, or nonrecoverable costs already incurred.
    Governing Law and Disputes
    To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
    Before beginning formal legal proceedings, the parties should make a reasonable attempt to resolve the dispute through direct written communication.
    Any legal action not subject to another mandatory jurisdiction must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Hudson County, New Jersey.
    Changes to These Terms
    Kingbooks may update these Terms to reflect changes in its services, business practices, provider requirements, or applicable laws.
    Changes apply after publication on this website. The terms accepted for a completed order will continue to govern that order unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
    Severability
    If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
    Failure to enforce any provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
    Entire Agreement
    These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, the applicable quotation, invoice, order confirmation, and any written service agreement constitute the agreement between Kingbooks and the customer concerning the applicable purchase or service.
    If a signed written agreement expressly conflicts with these general Terms, the signed written agreement will control for that particular transaction.
